Nick’s 1/4 Raw Review: The Good, The Bad & The Wrestling

On the flip side of things, it makes more sense to have Hart start some type of feud with Vince McMahon, as a match between those two is much more feasible than anything Hart could do with HBK. If Bret and Vince face off at Wrestlemania, they could have some type of street fight match that consists mostly of brawling, which I’m sure Bret could handle much better than technical wrestling.

A feud between Bret and Vince also makes the most sense from a logic stand point considering that Vince is ultimately the owner of WWE and is responsible for green lighting the Montreal Screwjob. You can say what you want about HBK’s role in the incident, but it’s Vince’s company, and he is the one who calls the shots.

Lastly, the feud between Bret and Vince almost writes itself. Bret is a natural face and Vince is a natural heel, so Vince is the better suited choice to play the bitter "I won’t let Montreal go" role than HBK. In this situation, Bret and Vince can capitalize on the heat from Montreal going forward, and Shawn Michaels can focus on carrying the tag titles, wrestling with Triple H, and preparing for a potential match between him and The Undertaker at Wrestlemania.
