The Uso’s vs. Trent Baretta and Johnny Curtis Review:

Baretta and Jey start things off, and reversals pick up the pace in the match. We go back and forth trying to one up another, and Curtis gets in the ring. Curtis immediately takes down Jey with a body slam, and stretches out Jey. Jey gets dragged into the corner, and here comes Baretta. He hits a flying dropkick from the top rope to get a two count. Baretta hits a nice running elbow, followed by a flying clothesline off the ropes. He locks in a head lock and really takes control of Jey. Jey hits a back drop onto Baretta. Baretta gets the tag to Curtis who cuts off Jey. Baretta comes back in, and hits chops to the chest of Jey. Jey takes in Jimmy, and he unloads on Trent. He hits a spinning heel kick, followed by a spinning elbow. He pays tribute to Rikishi, hitting Trent in the face with his back side. Curtis gets taken out on the outside. Baretta goes up top, but misses a reverse splash. The Uso’s hit the Superfly Splash for the victory.

Reaction:

A very entertaining match between these four guys. I would love to see the Uso’s on Smackdown each week, but apparently The Great Khali gets more time. These two are talented in many ways, including their high flying ability. They also are very rounded with a ground and pound attack, and continue to add a few moves to keep their offense fresh. Baretta is athletic, but I feel like he is just that. He really does not have a character, and Johnny Curtis is a guy who is too young to see what his potential can be. I need to see more from the Uso’s, especially if they are going to try and resurrect the tag team division. This segment gets a B.
