WZ’s “Top Ten” Returns: WWE Hell in a Cell Matches

Number 8: Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels "Badd Blood" Columbus, Ohio 2004

Badd Blood could be considered the former HIAC event for a few years. Triple H and Shawn Michaels put on a show in the ring. The backstory started with Benoit in the mix, but Shawn Michaels with attacking Triple H on Raw. GM Eric Bischoff suspended HBK. Michaels would cost a title opportunity for Triple H after he eliminated him in a battle royal match. After this happened, it was time for a Hell in a Cell match. The athleticism from HBK combined with the aggression of Triple H, you felt hatred between thetwo, even though we know they were best friends. Triple H controlled most of the match. Michaels hit a beautiful elbow drop, and the match showed us why these guys are the best in the business. Aggression, athleticism, and timing inside the cell to create wrestling and a surrounding piece of steel.
