Cody Rhodes vs. John Morrison for the Intercontinental Championship

What I liked:

Thank God that they got rid of the ugly IC Title, as we revealed the new…old… Intercontinental Championship belt. I loved the design, the color, and the prestige we all remember from that model. It makes Rhodes feel like he will ACTUALLY resurrect that championship. The match with Morrison was solid, nothing spectacular. Rhodes in the ring is great, as he is able to strike at any position. Also, Rhodes is more of a ground and pounder, but mixes in his skills off the ropes. Morrison hit his usual flying moves, but seems that is all he has.

What I Disliked:

The IC Title is on Smackdown, and last time I checked, Morrison is on Raw. Brand extension is split, kind of, but there could have been another opponent from Smackdown to face Rhodes, like a DiBiase or someone who he has feuded with before. Also, Lauranitis needs to go or take acting classes. He bores everyone and is not a character we care to see anymore. It is frustrating to see the lack of creativity sometimes from WWE Creative. The roll up victory was pretty rushed as well.

Grade of Match/Segment: B-

Currently, Josh Isenberg works for Major League Baseball in their Advanced Media Productions. He grew up in Pittsburgh and went to Point Park University, which is where Chair Shot Reality is filmed each week.

His life outside of his obsession with wrestling include being a savant for Seinfeld, NFL, NBA, MLB and many television shows. He also has an undying love for musicals, which includes many shows he was a part of in high school. Some of his favorite wrestling moments can be linked to such superstars as Edge, The Rock, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels and The Great Khali.
