Title This: TNA Impact Wrestling Reaction 10-13-2011

Bobby Roode vs. Gunner and Jeff Jarrett/ What Happened:

Roode had to overcome the numbers game. Jarrett and Gunner had some decent team work. Roode reversed some moves, hits a spinebuster, and really takes control. He locks in the submission move on Jarrett, locks it in Gunner after who taps out.

What I Liked:

How Roode won this match. He locked in a submission hold on both guys, really showed his versatility. He continues to get better in every way in the ring. James Storm coming to his aide was a nice touch, but that did not last long after the match. Jeff Hardy coming out was a great way to expose him in the main event picture again. He is relevant again, and the crowd still loves Hardy.

What I Disliked:

Again, Immortal attacking Roode. The gang mentality is played. Overdone. I really do not like the mix of wrestlers in Immortal, and they needed to focus on Roode/Angle. Also, when Hardy saves Roode, Storm gets upset. It did not make a lot of sense, because he saved both of them. I just felt Storm needed to leave afterwards.

Contract Signing between Hogan and Sting/ What Happened:

Typical contract signing. Hogan and Sting talk about their careers and how they have came to this point. Hogan says his career is over, but has one match against Sting in him.

What I Liked:

Hogan getting the last laugh. He attacks Sting cowardly, sets up a realistic feel. Hogan swallows his pride and tells the truth about himself and Sting.

What I Disliked:

The same old ending of a contract signing. There needed to be something more here that makes this feel different. It lacked a new meaning, lacked a really climatic point. That is what the match will end up being on Sunday.
