One Encouraging Step Up

I put over recently that I didn't think articles about Daniel Bryan on WWE.com meant anything when he's been crucified week in and week out on WWE programming. "Let's put over the guy that loses all the time as someone people should be watching!" Seems pointless to me.

That being said, there is still plenty of time between now and WrestleMania, when Daniel Bryan is expected to cash in his MITB contract. And love him or hate him, he deserves better than he's recently received just for the sole fact alone that WWE "did" make the decision to strap him with that briefcase earlier this year.

His match with Mark Henry on Smackdown this week didn't do a ton to prove that WWE plans to change their ways with Bryan, but it gave some hope, at least. He didn't lose clean and they put over the MITB gimmick by having Show suggest he cash in following his interference. We're all aware that he probably won't cash in until WrestleMania, but it gives that feeling of "you never know".

WWE still has A LOT of work to do with Bryan, but Friday seemed to be a good start.

Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.

Nick attended New York University and graduated in 2001 with a degree in Drama.

Nick first entered the internet wrestling community back in 2004 when he became the co-host of The Voice of Wrestling Radio Show. From there, Nick made the transition from radio personality to editor when he began working with WrestleZone in 2008.

Nick is a member of two Off-Broadway theatre companies, Another Urban Riff, and the Drama Desk Award winning Godlight Theatre Company. Nick has appeared in over a dozen Off-Broadway plays since he moved to New York City, and has shot several short and feature length films. In 2010, he completed principle photography on a film titled "How to Score Your Life," which also features TNA Knockout ODB.

Inspiration in his life has come from many people including his family, Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, The Beatles, and of course, Lassie.
