WWE will present their annual Survivor Series pay-per-view from MSG this Sunday, and it is being promoted as the biggest, and in some circles, the most one important one yet. I will be providing live coverage of the event right here on Wrestlezone and although I remain impartial during broadcasts, I would like to speak now about what I expect from tomorrow's event. First thing is, besides the Rock making his in ring return, why should I care about this in the first place? It looks good on paper, but I feel like WWE sometimes tries to bank on fans buying the event because of the name. On the other hand, it seems like they are trying a little harder to get buys and genuinely care about improving the product and trying to get fans excited about what they televise.
Divas Championship Match:
I like that they are pushing different women in the division, and I don't think this is a Kelly Kelly focused feud. We have seen Kharma (briefly), The Bellas, Eve, Kelly Kelly, Natalya, and now Beth Phoenix all as the focal point of the division. It is an improvement over LayCool like all of last year, but it still feels like anyone can win on a given night. The Divas look like they are finally competitive with each other and every title defense seems more meaningful than the last. I don't expect Eve to win, but I wouldn't be surprised to see her pull it off.
