WrestleZone’s Top Ten: Ladder Matches

Number 10: The Undertaker vs. Jeff Hardy: Monday Night Raw 2002

In 2002, The Undertaker was the "American Bad Ass," using his biker gimmick and rolling through opponents each week. Finally, Jeff Hardy got an opportunity to climb greatness, as he was granted an Undisputed WWE Championship match on Raw. This match was to the advantage of Hardy, as Taker is a 300 pound super heavyweight. He was not used to a match of this type, and you could tell. Taker was the physical and aggressive type, while Hardy used his speed to climb the ladder and almost pull off a huge upset. Taker would chokeslam Hardy, grab the title, and continue his reign for a little longer. This match was so memorable because it was on Raw, and was a time where surprises were possible.
