WrestleZone’s Top Ten: Ladder Matches

Number 9: London/Kendrick vs. Regal/Taylor vs MnM vs. The Hardys: Armageddon 2006

Richmond, Viriginia was the site, and this was not on the card. Theodore Long came out and made this a fatal four way with some of the best athletes in the WWE, including a young and exciting Johnny Nitro. London and Kendrick were the longest running champions at this time in the company, and this match showed why. A memorable spot including a botch, where Joey Mercury had his face literally ripped open by a ladder to the eye. Taylor and Regal, the outcasts, controlled with their ground and pound, but were not afraid to hit a move from the ladder. We received plenty of great moments here, thanks to Hardy's and MnM. London and Kendrick came out as the winners, and really reminded us how great tag teams can really be. What a match, what great use of the ladder in many facets, and this really was a great treat for the crowd, as well as the few who ordered this Pay Per View.
