Top Ten: Best of WWE 2011

Number 8: Royal Rumble 2011

Boston, Massachuttes. 40 Man Battle Royal. Edge vs. Ziggler. Diesel. Booker T. This night had so many memorable moments we tend to forget because it was almost a year ago. To open the night, we received a great bell to bell contest between Edge and Dolph Ziggler, two guys who really carried the Smackdown brand for months. Next, we would see The Miz face off against Randy Orton, with Orton trying to avenge Miz's cashing in on him in late 2010. This match was solid as well, giving us a glimpse into The Miz's future. With a focus on the largest Royal Rumble Match in history, we saw the return of Diesel, getting the loudest pop of the night. Second would go to Booker T, a guy who was more of a surprise to appear. Lastly, Alberto Del Rio took advantage of his backing from WWE heads and won the Rumble, going onto WrestleMania. This started year long angles, returns full time for Booker on the announcer's table, and really showed us some of the best young talent WWE had to offer. The crowd was electric, and the action was intense.
