The Cashbox: Yes! No! Maybe!

Daniel BryanI can't explain it.

I've been trying to figure out what just happened in Miami, Florida this past weekend. Not-of-this-world influence of some kind? Did Daniel Bryan drug the entire 78,000+ that attended WrestleMania? And the crowd at Raw, too? Was Vince throwing up subliminal messages on the titantron during Bryan's entrances?

I still can't explain it. But I guess I don't need to, honestly.

Daniel Bryan has gained a ton of respect by peers and fans alike for his work the past few months. His character development since turning heel has felt seamless and comfortable. Yet, it was his dropping the World Heavyweight Championship to Sheamus in 18 seconds at WrestleMania 28 that seemed to solidify his true place in fans' minds.

Maybe they felt sorry for him. Maybe they were standing up against what they felt was a bad creative decision at 'Mania. Either way, in a matter of 24 hours, Bryan followed in the footsteps of former, fellow ROH'er CM Punk and went from "rising superstar" to "overnight uberstar".

Will "Yes! Yes! Yes!" carry over to other cities? I certainly believe so. It carried over to a damn NBA game! Of course, that game was in Miami.

Will it replace "What!"? Steve Austin gave his blessing.

Let's break down some possible scenarios for Bryan's future…
