What’s NOT Bothering Me: Brodus/Santino, Lesnar, Tensai

I promise to be negative again next week, but after the 24-hour period WWE just gave us between Sunday and Monday, I don’t have it in me.

WrestleMania was promoted as being the biggest ever, and in a variety of ways, WWE delivered on that promise. Monday’s follow-up edition of Raw certainly delivered as well. There are plenty of positives in pro wrestling right now to discuss, so let’s get to it.

It wasn’t the direction I expected, but there’s two main reasons I like the idea:

1) Brodus Clay needed a purpose.

2) Funny could become hilarious.

I was surprised that Vince had Brodus continue the squash matches after his return. That would have been a good time to insert him into some sort of meaningful program, but better late than never.

Brodus is funny. Santino is very funny. The two of them together could be brilliant.

@MrLBird sent me the following via Twitter: “Brodus Clay and Santino possibly teaming is not bothering me. Could me a quality comedy tag team with lots of dancing!”
