Title This: Impact Wrestling Reaction 4-19

Josh Isenberg

In Ring Segment:

Garret Bischoff comes out with RVD, Mr. Anderson, and AJ Styles to celebrate his victory Sunday. He says he got rid of Eric once and for all. Styles says Garret has balls for hitting his dad with a guitar. Out comes Ric Flair, who begins to talk about the talent in the ring is here because of Eric Bischoff. Flair calls him a disgrace, and says the guys siding with Garret makes them look like punk. He says he is holding a part for Eric.

What I Liked:

This killed the crowd and really did not connect with me. I see Ric and say, "why are you here?" So, I really did not like much here.

What I Disliked:

There needs to be something more to this segment. What did it do for the crowd and for the fans? Nothing whatsoever. Ric needs to go away, it is making his stock look weak and useless. I just really wish that he would not piss away his career like this. He is one of the best ever, so what else does he have to prove? Also, Garret needs to be a focus and not Anderson, Styles, and RVD. They have their own thing to do.

Kurt Angle def. AJ Styles:

What I Liked:

A great pairing of opponents. Two men who can work and really focus on old school wrestling.  I liked how the pace of the match went, but I was expecting so much more. The greater picture is Kaz and Daniels having a secret of Styles', which keeps you wanting to see what else will happen. I like that facet of a continued story build.

What I Disliked:

Another match with a quick rollup. I wanted to see something more here from the guys, as I felt the entire match was just a little bit off. Angle and Styles needed more time to give a great match, but they were not given it. I also felt that Angle was the 4th most important person in this match. What will he do next? He seemed like just the outside in a match with no reason and an angle built without him being involved.
