WrestleZone’s Top 10: Misused Talent

Number 8: Drew McIntyre

Drew McIntyre

6’5″ and 255 pounds, Drew McIntyre has the perfect body type to hold World Championship gold. From quickly emerging as a threat to the main event level, McIntyre captured the Intercontinental Championship in short time and carried the mid card talent for a long time. When he tenure on Smackdown seemed to end, he switched to Raw and was immediately forgotten. He is really solid in every level, especially with his aggression in the ring. McIntyre can be everything that people thought when he was titled “The Chosen One.” Where is he now? We barely get views of McIntyre. He was squashed by Brodus Clay, forgotten at WrestleMania in the Team Teddy vs. Team Johnny match, and now is basically invisible. He deserves much more than what he is getting. I am not saying he should be competing for the World title, but he should be an opponent for Santino. Let Drew make himself be known by attacking a crowd favorite. You are wasting his size and durability. He is reliable and is able to do much more than half of the roster that is getting precious TV time.
