Title This: WWE Raw Reaction 5-7-12

Brock LesnarIn Ring Segment:

After a video package, Brock Lesnar's music hits. Instead of Lesnar coming out, Paul Heyman makes his way to the ring. He talks about Brock and his career. Paul addresses how the WWE today is imagine conscience, and that John Laurinaitis did wonders by signing him. He is here to represent Brock, and says reads a statement from him. He says he does not care about anybody, as well as how he hates the business side of things. That is why he feels betrayed and a reason why he left 8 years ago. He says he is never coming back, and I quit.

What I Liked:

Amazing work by Paul Heyman here, as he still got it. What a great idea for Heyman to come out and speak for Lesnar. We all know how attached he really is to Lesnar throughout his career, so this realistic attempt at getting Lesnar to quit worked to a gem. Excellent way for the WWE, for Lesnar, and for the fans to get a sense of realism. It is hard to do at times.

Daniel Bryan and Lord Tensai def. C.M. Punk:

What I Liked:

Thank God that Bryan was inserted in this match. Bryan is such a great talent where he needs to be seen each week and on each show. He has gotten to that point where the fans boo and cheer him because of how good he has gotten. I did not buy into him at first, but now I get it. I understand why he is so good. I really enjoyed how Bryan looked so great in the ring. His chemistry and timing is spot on with Punk, even better than Jericho and Punk were. They should have a great match at Over The Limit. After the match, Bryan locks in his finisher. Yes Lock was perfect to end Raw. Bryan is so good at being a heel and getting the crowd to invest their time and money in his character.

What I Disliked:

I have never been so annoyed and frustrated with a character like Lord Tensai. He simply is not getting any parts of the crowd interested in his character, has not developed an identity in the ring, and continues to be mixed with his personality. He did not hit his finisher correctly, and it looked terrible. Kurrigan and Tajiri would be so disappointed with how he combined both of there finishers. Bad stuff here. I cannot say Tensai has gotten better.
