ChristianChristian def. Cody Rhodes To Retain the Intercontinental Championship

What I Liked:

Cody and Christian is a great pair for the mid card title for a few reasons. You have an established guy like Christian who thrives in the mid card level, and then you have Rhodes who has carried that very role. You feel like Rhodes will ultimately move up to a world championship soon, but he continues to impress me. All bias aside, the crowd was not super into this match, but it is because of the joke before it. Christian continues to show why he can be relied on, because he is solid in every aspect. He does not make many mistakes in the ring, and continues to add new pieces to keep himself fresh. The match itself was very solid, with a nice pace between ground attacking and athleticism. Christian would pick up the win with the Spear, after Cody kicking out of the Killswitch and missing Beautiful Disaster.

What I Disliked:

I did not like him winning after the spear. Christian is not the strong type for everyone to believe a spear will get him the victory. We did not see a Frog Splash to finish him off, which is what the announcers are trying to put over each week. I wanted some consistency and logic throughout the match, and the end felt a little flat to me.

Prime Time Players win the Fatal Four Way

What I Liked:

Uso's, Kidd and Gabriel, Primo and Epico, and PTP compete in a pretty fun match to watch. Tyson Kidd stole the show here because of his great athleticism and action. He was not used much, but he hit a great hurricanranna and knocked out everyone else. This match was booked intelligently, with all teams getting into the action at the right time. AW turns his back on Primo and Epico to help PTP, which I feel he is more suited for. He is an agent, and PTP are like professional athletes who need a contract and who need an actual agent. It is smart booking.

What I Disliked:

Even though I enjoyed the match, this shows you how much they do not invest time and angle building. Did anyone really care who won this match? None of the teams have had realistic chances to be champions in the past, and it shows the lack of creativity. This was fun to watch, but the fans simply do not care or connect with any of them.

Triple H Addresses the WWE Universe

What I Liked:

Triple H made it short and sweet. I will do the same. He challenges Brock Lesnar for a fight at Summerslam. He made it clear about what he is and what he is portrayed. There was a sense of realism when he spoke about who he was, and the suit he is wearing now. There is not much else he could have said here, but throwing down the challenge was the next step. Now, we wait for Lesnar.

What I Disliked:

I wish Paul Heyman was there to interact with Triple H. It would have completed a lot more, including the "lawsuits" that we are made to believe are happening. Other than that, it did what it needed to do, and that was to ressurect the angle with Lesnar.
