Samoa Joe def. AJ Styles

What I Liked:

We get another solid match for the BFG series. AJ Styles works well with anyone, and kudos for putting on a great match with a super heavyweight. There was some great spots in this match, including when Joe smoothly transitioned from a STF to an armbar. This changed the pace of the match, and really put Joe in the driver's seat. He was able to slow things down, until AJ came back with some clothesline and a Pele Kick The end saw Joe quickly roll up Styles for the victory after a reversal. It was an intelligent way to get Joe a victory without having AJ lose clean. I was a fan of this match, and thought there was plenty of time for both men to get over with the crowd with their unique skill sets.

What I Disliked:

I am not sure that I understand why they continue to give Samoa Joe the victories and a big push in the BFG series. TNA seems to be taking a trip down memory lane, where Joe did not have much competition with main event talent. He does now, and I feel he needs to be utilized in a different capacity than the one they are giving him. Sorry, he is not a main event guy.

Gut Check

What I Liked:

Kris Lewie does not get a contract. I did enjoy how Joey Ryan continues to ponder around and cause some havoc with the judges. Gut Check is all about Joey Ryan and continuing to use him. He may have some talent and some credibility as becoming someone to watch.

What I Disliked:

I am tired of Gut Check. We need to move on to more important things. Focus more on Ryan now and not other guys that are not going to make it.

Grade: C

Josh controls most of the creative writing and ideas for the show on a weekly basis, as well as an on-air talent.

Aside from working with WrestleZone, Isenberg began his career in Broadcast Journalism interning at ESPN and worked with CBS Radio for three years. He has also had the opportunity to interview some of the best athletes and performers alive, including Andrew McCutchen, Ben Roethlisberger, Chris Jericho, Billy Gunn, Karl Anderson, Matt Hardy, Steven Strasburg and others.

Currently, Josh Isenberg works for Major League Baseball in their Advanced Media Productions. He grew up in Pittsburgh and went to Point Park University, which is where Chair Shot Reality is filmed each week.

His life outside of his obsession with wrestling include being a savant for Seinfeld, NFL, NBA, MLB and many television shows. He also has an undying love for musicals, which includes many shows he was a part of in high school. Some of his favorite wrestling moments can be linked to such superstars as Edge, The Rock, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels and The Great Khali.
