Jeff Hardy def. Kurt Angle
What I Liked:
A quick paced match with so much positives, Angle and Hardy are two of the best TNA has right now. They are so consistent and extremely talented performers. The match went back and forth, and really focused on Angle not being able to win the "big one." Angle had multiple opportunities to win, hit numbeous suplexes, and really grounded Hardy for a while. His German Suplexes are superb. Jeff Hardy came back swinging at the end, hitting a Twist of Fate and 2 Swanton Bombs to get the win over Kurt Angle. In reality, we all know Kurt is the best and will be champion again. We also know Jeff Hardy has been consistent since his return, and the fans still love him. He will continue to get better and more reliable. The series will conclude soon, and I fel like all but RVD or Joe will come away with the overall win. I am excited to see what they do next week and who will win. Great work overall.
In Ring Segment:
What I Liked:
You get the unity of the TNA guys, and Aries is waiting for Aces and Eights to come out. The leader comes into the ring and Aries takes him out. The gang comes out and TNA guys attack. All hell breaks loose, and one member knocks Aries out cold and runs off. Bully Ray and the guys check on Aries and all fighting occurs. We got a little more this week, and continue to build to a bigger story. I do not know where they will go next week.
What I Disliked:
They are taking this slow, but is it too slow? We need to connect and have one big thing happen. I really think there needs to be more involved with revealing these guys. Obviously we will be familiar with a few, and the numbers need to drop so they are not overshadowed by other guys. The ending was just off a little for me. I expected much more.
