Jeff HardyJeff Hardy - One Step Down

It seems like I'm always knocking on this guy, and I don't mean to, honestly. But I'm tired of hearing about this man's future in pro wrestling. I'm not sure he even cares what it is, so why should I?

Jeff Hardy has been given more second chances than I can count and if this latest exclusive by Justin LaBar is accurate, he clearly doesn't appreciate the latest one given to him by TNA. It was just last year that he worked a championship match on live pay per view under the influence - "blitzed" is probably the more appropriate term - and they gave him another shot a short five months later.

He left WWE in 2003 because he was burned out. He ended up going to work for TNA eventually. He no-showed events during that run before finally leaving in 2006. He goes back to WWE and despite his second Wellness violation in 2008, he gets pushed to the moon when he returns from suspension.

His run with CM Punk then was excellent.

Yet, he leaves, again. Burned out, again. Enter TNA, again.

Jeff Hardy is a true star, and that generally trumps all, but it shouldn't in a scripted sport. Just create a new one that's more reliable. I hear Jack Swagger is looking for a new direction...
