Thanks to everyone who tuned in last night to the Voice of Wrestling and VOW Reaction, before and after Raw. The archives will be posted today on WZ and VOWLive.com. Also, please note that this column is generally posted on Mondays and will go back to that next week.

I felt positive after Raw last night, so let's stay positive today...

Mick Foley#3. Mick Foley Still Has "IT"

I have mixed feelings toward Mick's promo last night, for several reasons, but that doesn't mean it wasn't fantastic. It was. His delivery was impeccable and it just goes to show you what Foley is STILL capable of when he's not wearing a Santa outfit and is given good material to use.

Mixed Feeling #1: I can't help but think Mick could be used more regularly in this regard. However, not for someone like Punk, who doesn't need it, but for an up-and-coming star. I'm pretty sure there was an idea like that on the table not too long ago that had Mick working a program with Justin LaBar's favorite no-show, Dean Ambrose. Still not entirely sure what "shoot" happened with that.

Mick still has the ability, and last I heard, still has the desire to work a little more. Let him.

Mixed Feeling #2: I found myself questioning the actual message of Mick's promo. On a night that it was very evident Punk wanted to maintain COMPLETE heel status, Mick was giving us reasons to cheer the guy. His passion and commitment to the speech trumped it all, but I found it a bit counterproductive to what they're trying to accomplish with Punk's character. Or, at least, I "think" they're trying to accomplish.

After seeing Ryback in the closing seconds of the show, there's clearly more to the story. And maybe -- just maybe -- Foley's message was exactly what it was meant to be.

More on that in a few...
