Kofi Kingston#2. Kofi Push Coming Soon?

Arda Ocal tweeted that the Dolph Ziggler/Kofi Kingston match from last night is at least a "Top Five" match for 2012, if not number one. I won't argue; it was incredible.

Dolph will continue getting his well-deserved praise after this, by me, by everyone, but this week, I want to highlight "the other guy".

New reports suggest Kofi Kingston might be in line for some sort of singles push soon. I'm not sure if that is a direct result from last night or if Creative has been considering it for a while, but I'm loving the idea either way.

I've said it for a long time -- I think Kofi Kingston is one of the most underrated guys of the past few years. I think it all stems from WWE abruptly pulling the plug on his feud with Randy Orton back in '09-'10. That program brought out an entirely different Kofi Kingston than what we had before and have now. He showed superstar potential.

His mic work was even better during that timeframe, which I'm aware is his primary weakness.

My expectations aren't ridiculous here, so please don't bury me below. I've simply thought for a while now that Kofi has the tools to do more as a singles star. Maybe we'll get to find out soon enough. If so, I bet he delivers.
