2. Too Much Love For Slater

People need to calm down with all this talk about Heath Slater being mistreated. It's starting to get silly.

I am absolutely a fan of Heath Slater, by the way, and loved his Legends story leading up to Raw1K. But to think he should be some main event guy is absurd. Even upper mid-card would be a stretch right now.

Is he entertaining? Absolutely, in that cheesy, hard-to-take-serious kind of way. Hence the reason he's a perfect put-over guy. He can stay relevant, despite losing every week.

IF and when WWE decides to push him to another level, he'll shed the extreme version of his gimmick. He'll get more serious and cut back on some of the over-the-top arrogance.

You may claim that it's the extreme gimmick that makes you a fan, and I'll even agree with you, but my appreciation stops there. I can be a fan of Slater's without needing or expecting an unrealistic push as a result.

And to those of you that can't, I'm sorry. I'm afraid you'll be waiting a while if you want more out of Heath Slater than what you've been getting.
