Title This: Impact Wrestling Reaction 10-18

James StormJames Storm and Bobby Roode

What I Liked:

These two put on one of my favorite matches of the year at Bound For Glory. The intensity, the hatred, and the physicality payed off for both guys. After a year long feud, this was a great culmination. Roode comes out to interrupt Storm, again, and talks about how Storm still needs him. The feud is still brewing, still lingering, and the fans still connect with it. The segment ends with a Last Call onto Roode.

What I Disliked:

Even though I love seeing these guys fight for multiple reasons, Bound For Glory has to be it. There is nothing they can do to top what they did a week ago. It was the perfect ending, and should not try to be dulplicated. Find someone else for these guys, and still have the personal hatred as a backstory if you really need it again. That can be a wild card in your pocket.

Sting Defeats Devon By Disqualification

What I Liked:

You can tell Devon is in great shape, and his ability to remain relevant speaks volumes about his character. The match was alright, with a basic attack on Sting. Devon was able to scrap his way to beat down the Icon, with stomps on the ground and attacks to the chest. Devon is in a gang, so he has to fight like he is in a gang. There is no more room for gimmicks or cheesy moves, and he seemed to shy away from that tonight. Sting gets the better of Devon in the ring until Aces and Eights attack. TNA's roster comes out and cleans house.

What I Disliked:

Isn't this what we have seen for the past few months? They just came up short for me at the end of the night. This is something that is hard to book in the middle of the night, so I understand why it closes Impact. i just feel like they are continuing to beat the same drum. With the revelation of Devon, do more now. This is the chance for TNA to capitalize on his face being shown, as well as the secrets he still has. A typical brawl is going to get very predictable and boring if nothing comes out of it.
