The Undercard Part 2:
Kofi Kingston defeated Alberto Del Rio in a very entertaining match. Kingston and Del Rio are very similar in approaching their opponents. They look for the big opportunity consistently throughout the match, and Kofi was able to hit all of his moves onto Del Rio. Alberto would end up getting distracted because of Randy Orton's music hitting. This let the IC Champion get the rollup and victory, but also keep the Orton/Del Rio feud interesting. I am not sold on it, but at least this was better than a cheap win for Del Rio over a crappy opponent. The action, the pacing, and the outcome worked and was very logical. Grade: B
Santino Marella and Zack Ryder defeated Primo and Epico. Once again, another tag team match and I am not hating it. To build an entire division, you need multiple pieces and stories. We knew what kind of match this was going to be, and it was all comedy. I was okay with it, but still feel like Santino and Ryder have so many restrictions on their characters and gimmick.
Wade Barrett defeated Brodus Clay. This was simply to show the dominance of Barrett, who know has the role of Brodus when he came back with a new gimmick. The difference is that Wade has a long future with it, while Brodus did not. It was great to see him sub in for Miz. Give him that chance to shine. Grade: C
Heath Slater defeated Jey Uso. The 3MB were on display, but with only 2 of them. A typical match that lasted under five minutes. I wonder what they want to do with 3MB. Do they have an actual feud in store, or will they be irrelavant for a long time? What are your thoughts on 3MB? I am still so confused why they are all together. Grade: D
