The Main Event
Jeff Hardy, AJ Styles, and James Storm defeated Bobby Roode, Kazarian, and Christopher Daniels. As expected when discussing all of these men in a match, there was no lack of entertainment and excitement. Jeff Hardy continues to be the guy that gets the crowd ramped up, but I also felt that James Storm got a great pop when he came in to clear the ring. We all figured that Kazarian would get the pinfall, considering he is the least popular of the other men on his team. This was all about building to the main event of Final Resolution.
The match was great, but the ending left me questioning some thing. Roode seemingly paid off Aces and Eights to attack Jeff Hardy at the end of the match. Why wouldn't he pay them to help him win? Isn't that what it is all about? Second, Aces and Eights have attacked heels and faces for such a long time, so I do not understand why they have become the APA of TNA. Why would there be such a drastic change to a group that seemingly was doing alright with how they were being booked. It is not their fault that the star power in the group has not been revealed yet. Time will tell if this will be an overall failure or success, but I really need more from Aces and Eights than this. Grade: C+
