Number 9: Wrestlemania 2000 Had No Straight Singles Matches

Contrary to the year after, Wrestlemania 2000 was all about gimmicks, all about specialty matches. I found this absolutely shocking when I did research and seeing that this event had NO straight one on one contests. We had a Hardcore Battle Royal, a Tables Match for the Tag Team Championship, a Triple Threat Match, a Fatal Four Way, another tag match, and a 6 person tag match. If you want to be specific and say the Catfight was one on one, I cannot argue. I specifically mean wrestling matches and Wrestlemania 2000 had none of those. Although it had some bright spots, the card was too filled up. There were 35 superstars booked on the card, in a three hour event. Currently, this year's Wrestlemania had 32, which seems really high. We shall see how WWE books 4 hours this year with 10 matches.
