The Main Event
The Big Show and Mark Henry defeated Randy Orton and Sheamus. It looks like WWE will be going with Show/Orton and Sheamus/Henry. Although I am not a huge Show fan, I feel like these pairings are very fitting for the forseeable future. I do not see much longevity in them, but they can benefit a few guys. With this match tonight, you had your faces control and really get the offense going. Much like Show does, he takes some good bumps and sets up the faces for success. Sheamus gets involved with Mark Henry by spearing him to the outside, which allows Big Show to chokeslam Orton for the win. I do not love the finish of the Chokeslam. You have the Knockout Punch for a reason. Use it.
– I am not sure where they are going with these feuds. Orton and Sheamus are a good tag team and need something to keep them afloat while the young guys take alot of the spotlight. Henry and Show cannot be a tag team that people want to see. They are too similar in their offensive schemes. After Extreme Rules, I do feel like Henry/Sheamus will continue, while Orton desperately needs something to keep him fresh. He is still floundering right now. If Orton beats Show, he should get a championship match against Ziggler. Swagger and Del Rio just do not deserve to be there right now.
