Bob Holly – One Step Up
I read a sample of Bob Holly's new autobiography, "The Hardcore Truth", the other day. The small dose was enough to wet my appetite and I'm looking forward to reading the rest very soon.
I do have a slight dilemma, however. A mutual friend of ours has been saying for months she could (and would) "easily" get me an interview with the former WWE star. There wasn't desperation on my end, but I was actually looking forward to it.
The book has been out now for a month and still no word on that interview. I halfway feel like I should hold off reading the book, and the subsequent promotion that would come with it, until the interview with Mr. Holly is arranged and set in stone. Childish? Absolutely, but I'm not above those games.
In all seriousness, I've heard nothing but good things about "The Hardcore Truth". I've been told it's very honest and real. And that's what I look for in my wrestling books.
I hope to have a review of the book in the coming weeks, but would love to hear your thoughts on it in the meantime, if you've read it. And if you know or follow Bob Holly, tell him I'm still waiting for that interview.
