The Main Events

-Paul Heyman and CM Punk talked to one another about the events that happened last night. Heyman says he double crossed Punk because Heyman never got the respect of being the "Best in the World" with him. Heyman talks about all he did for Punk and how when Punk came back, he felt like he was better than him. Heyman brings his family into the conversation, talking about how Punk has nobody besides the respect of the fans. Heyman was absolutely fantastic and real. Punk looked and sounded like he really wanted to rip his face off. When Punk looked like he was defeated from Heyman's comments, he fired back some promises. Heyman yelled "it's clobbering time" and out came Brock Lesnar. Paul Heyman hit Punk from behind and Lesnar attacked. Punk would be left on the ground, hard to get to his feet. Move over, Mark Henry. This was the best promo of the year. Stellar performance because it felt real, it gave us drama, and I was sitting on the edge of my seat the entire time. Words cannot describe how good this was.

Grade: A+

-John Cena was left with a decision to pick his opponent for Summerslam. He polls the crowd with the superstars that were on the stage. Finally, he hears the chants of yes in the crowd and picks Daniel Bryan. Bryan comes out and chants to the crowd as Raw goes off the air.

WWE Raw gave us the two main events. Punk/Lesnar will be incredible, while Bryan/Cena has potential to be very good and extremely interesting. Both matches will make this card well rounded. Now, WWE has four weeks to build from this very good edition of Raw heading into Summerslam.

His life outside of his obsession with wrestling include being a savant for Seinfeld, NFL, NBA, MLB and many television shows. He also has an undying love for musicals, which includes many shows he was a part of in high school. Some of his favorite wrestling moments can be linked to such superstars as Edge, The Rock, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels and The Great Khali.
