Daniel BryanThe Main Event

The Trifecta of Daniel Bryan:

Daniel Bryan defeated Jack Swagger in a 6 minute match. This was the perfect start for Bryan in his matches, as he was able to suffer a little bit of pain from a larger athlete but overcome the odds. Swagger and Cesaro are used here in the main event and people should overlook the fact that they lost. This is a much better step for them instead of having them win or lose to The Uso's. Bryan makes Swagger tap out. Next up is Antonio Cesaro, a stronger and more endured wrestler.

Daniel Bryan defeated Antonio Cesaro in an incredible match that was as physical as it was intelligent. Bryan and Cesaro are wonderful wrestlers who are excellent at telling a story through their actions. The beauty of this match is that Bryan uses his feet and Cesaro uses his upper body. This spells the size indifference between the two guys. You had to love the multiple European Uppercuts from Cesaro only to have Bryan strike back with kicks to the legs. Bryan and Cesaro are extremely versatile and both men were able to tell their story. Go back and watch this classic bout between two of the absolute best the WWE has to offer.

Daniel Bryan defeated Ryback via Disqualification. Lastly, Bryan was forced to face someone even bigger and stronger for the third man. Ryback comes out and immediately attacks Bryan. I love how WWE used Ryback's words earlier in the night, saying the bigs need to feed, and throws Bryan in his way. There was NO way Bryan would lose but how would he win? Ryback hit a Powerbomb onto Bryan through a table. This prompted Cena to come out and protect Bryan. The last half hour was all Daniel Bryan and that is what was needed. Bryan needed to be the most important guy on Raw for us to believe he can beat John Cena at Summerslam. WWE did that and I expect the respect card to be used for another week or two before Bryan snaps on Cena.
