Stars in Progress: RyWho?, Total Divas, The Total Package

It’s easy to hate this show. It’s even easier to secretly like it and watch it, yet claim you hate it on your favorite wrestling message board.

I didn’t particularly love or hate it. It was what it was —  a cheesy, mostly-scripted look into the behind the scenes of WWE and a few of its stars.

If you’re a fan of reality television and the Divas, you’ll love it. If you’re a fan of just one or the other, you’ll be able to tolerate it.

The small dose of John Cena and Daniel Bryan in the “real world” is pretty intriguing as well.

Natalya is easily the most likable girl on the program. She comes across as the most genuine and there’s a segment of her wrestling a Stephanie McMahon lookalike that is pretty kick-ass. She carries the Hart legacy well.

I’ll at least say the first edition piqued my interest enough to watch it again…at some point. My “reality” fix is generally met each week with Big Brother’s three episodes, so another hour’s worth likely won’t become religious.
