Who Is The Shield’s Real Potential Breakout Star?
[from an initial forum post at http://forums.wrestlezone.com/showthread.php?t=258621]
The Shield – the WWE stable featuring Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns, and Seth Rollins – debuted at Survivor Series 2012, and has had a nearly unprecedented string of dominance since that time. The triumvirate currently holds the WWE Tag Team Championships (Reigns and Rollins) and the United States Championship (Ambrose). There were some nebulous reports late last month that the team may have some backstage heat, but nothing was ever verified, and the team certainly looks to have a bright future. The Undertaker “sees big money in those three,” and they’ll definitely have a big (if yet undetermined) role to play in this month’s SummerSlam PPV.
The three-man team has been very good in the ring and adept in their pre-taped promos. The latter is particularly impressive, as the WWE has never given them much in the way of specifics regarding what “injustices” they have come to fight against. They have a great look, they work well together, they complement each other’s strengths perfectly, and they even have a cool collective nickname (“The Hounds of Justice”). Which of these men will eventually become the biggest WWE Superstar?
