WWE SummerSlam

Title This: WWE SummerSlam Wrap-up

The Story of Dolph and AJ Lee

Dolph Ziggler

SummerSlam saw what should, or hopefully, be the end of these two in a love story. Big E did lost to Ziggler on Smackdown, but that is irrelavant in the big picture. Ever since Dolph Ziggler lost the World Heavyweight Championship, he has taken a back seat to trying to get Big E Langston over with AJ Lee. The tag team match at SummerSlam was good, but not great. Dolph Ziggler showed why his athleticism and speed will ultimately get him back to the top of the WWE. If you think he has lost some steam, then you are right. The following night on RAW, Ziggler was booked in a 3-on-1 match against The Shield. What this tells me is that Ziggler is going to be one of the faces that the management will break down to build back up. They do this with many people and will continue to do this with a new face in Ziggler to get him even more over with the crowd. We will begin to see his personality shine as he becomes a rebel against management. I can see him having more interactions with Brad Maddox instead of Vince McMahon, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon who will be too involved with Daniel Bryan. As for Langston and AJ Lee, I can see them continuing to make Lee the face of the Divas division. I fear that Langston’s size and talent may be lost for the next couple of months because both mid card champions are heels.
