Impact WrestlingThe Undercard

Robbie E defeated Christopher Daniels, Hernandez, and Eric Young in a random match with four guys who are very different. I was shocked to see Robbie E win this match because of how irrelavant he has been over the past year. He steals a victory after he throws Eric Young outside of the ring as soon as his elbow drop was completed. It was a classic heel move.

Gunner defeated Knux when Gunner hits a spear onto Knux. The big story was the amount of outside distraction from Garrett and Storm. If they want to keep Aces and Eights important, put Knux and Garrett in a bigger storyline. If they battle for the tag titles on a consistent basis, you will begin to see production out of them. When they float and latch onto Bully Ray's feud, that shows me they cannot be trusted enough. Either way, it is now or never for this stable that lacks star power and intrigue.

Samoa Joe defeated Chris Sabin in an excellent match. This was the most entertaining part of the show, by far. After back and forth offense from both guys, which included a Uranage slam and an atomic drop onto Sabin, the other pieces to the Ultimate X match came into play. With Aries, Hardy, and Manik involved you knew they would show up and create more intrigue to the match. Joe made Sabin tap out. That was the right call because Sabin has been world champion recently and is a heel who does not need the victory. Aries came out and hit a missle dropkick, while Hardy comes out and hits Aries with a Twist of Fate. The end showed Manik on a ladder hitting a splash. Out of all of the men, Manik is the biggest underdog. He needed the final laugh because we need to think for a second that he could win. I doubt he will.
