Raw ReactionThe Undercard

Ryback defeated The Great Khali in a very boring match. We kick off our Raw Reaction with a match that has NO interest or intrigue. Khali started with a few clotheslines and was in control like usual. Ryback ended up hitting a clothesline for the win. It was as simple as this. Neither guy has anything going for them right now and Ryback continues to fall down the ladder.

Grade: D

Alberto Del Rio defeated Kofi Kingston. This match was highly contested from the very beginning. It is a poor thing to know that Kingston will not win matches like these, against former world champions. The pacing of the match was electric. Alberto connected with a headbutt but missed an enziguiri. Kingston was able to hit a crossbody and hurricanranna from the corner. Kofi kicks him a few times and goes for another rollup, but Alberto kicks out and rolls into the Cross Armbreaker, making him tap out. Good chemistry between two guys with similar wrestling styles. Too bad there is a lack of storylines for both guys. What does this do for Del Rio who will get a rematch against Cena? Not much.

The Return of a Former Champion

Tyson Kidd and Natalya defeated Summer Rae and Fandango. The match featured the return of Tyson Kidd, one of the best overall wrestlers in WWE. He showcased much of his unique offense. Whether it was an adjusted dropkick or a lariat to the outside, Kidd kept the fans involved and really had all of the steam behind him. He looks bigger and stronger, yet keeps the speed and athleticism. He could be the biggest beneficiary overall with the Total Divas exposure. This is a great thing for the mid-card because both US and IC champions are heel and are lacking a real face to compete with on a weekly basis. Kidd could be a solution down the road.
