R-Truth and The Uso's defeated 3MB in a six man tag team match. When was the last time a show did NOT have a 6 man tag team match? I feel like this is more normal than the original tag team matches. This did not do much for me because of who was involved in the match. There is no silver lining for any of these guys right now. As soon as I begin to warm up on Jimmy and Jey, WWE gives them another meaningless match. There are no reasons for us to invest our time into these 6 guys.
AJ Lee and Tamina defeated Cameron and Naomi. AJ Lee and Tamina are a really good pair together. Tamina has the strength and the passion, while Lee possesses that same passion mixed with technical brilliance. She picks up the win for her team with the Black Widow. I would love to see someone be specifically pointed out to invest time in a feud with AJ. What is the point of putting a title on her if she has nobody to defend it against? Do you prefer AJ like this or how she was used in main story lines previously? Exactly.
Alberto Del Rio defeated The Great Khali. Yep. I remember a match between Del Rio and Khali about 6 months or so ago where Khali actually did not look terrible in the ring. If anyone can make Khali look good I assume Del Rio would be a good choice. Much like every single match that Khali is in, he takes control early only to lose by a mistake of his own. Del Rio hits a kick to the back of his head and applied the submission armbar. Khali has no other way out than to tap. Isn't there better competition for Del Rio to face?
Why Del Rio Does Not Work
This segment shows you that Del Rio is really hard to book for. Unless he has a guy like Cena or Edge carrying him in feuds, you will continually get lackadasical matches and boring outcomes on weekly occasions. Does anyone really care to see this match? Was there any suspense or doubt Del Rio would win? There is never any of this in random Del Rio matches.
