The Slammy Awards

Lol! Moment of the Year: The Rock wins the award for his concert. This was the obvious choice and one that made me laugh the most in 2013. Sometimes, the things that make you laugh are the ones you have seen over and over again. This is not a bad thing.

Fan Participation of the Year. Daniel Bryan's "Yes" Chant wins the award. Has there ever been more of a polarizing chant since "What" than this one? A simple chant of one word propelled Daniel Bryan to the very top. He is not a bad wrestler, either.

Superstar of the Year: Daniel Bryan wins the award. I was split here because John Cena has done so much this year. He won both titles, main evented Mania and Summerslam, and won the Royal Rumble. I am not sure there isn't anything else he could've won that was more important. Nonetheless, Daniel Bryan became the most popular wrestler in 2013. He would be a close second for me.

Insult of the Year: Stephanie McMahon wins it with her tirade on The Big Show. This was the right call. Steph attacking him physically and verbally was actually believable. I thought this was one of her better moments in 2013.

Double cross of the Year. Shawn Michaels wins this award. It should've been Triple H screwing Daniel Bryan. It made more of an impact on a much bigger scale. It also started the biggest angle of the year. Michaels was just a piece of the angle. Triple H created and is running this "authority" angle.

Diva of the Year: The Bellas pick up this victory. How in the hell can you convince me that AJ Lee does not deserve this award? I was shocked and really upset because she is the hardest working Diva in the company. She has been in many feuds that are meaningful and have held the championship longer than anyone in the calendar year.

Extreme Moment of the Year: CM Punk attacking Paul Heyman was the winner. I would not have picked this to win, but I understand it. It ended the longest feud of 2013 and really gave Punk a few seconds to hype his match against The Shield. I would love to see this award ten years ago when there was no PG.

Match of the Year: John Cena vs. The Rock at WrestleMania 29 picked up this award. This wasn't even the best match of the night. It was third best. This makes me wonder how legit the voting actually is because all fans know that this match was average at best.

He also has an undying love for musicals, which includes many shows he was a part of in high school. Some of his favorite wrestling moments can be linked to such superstars as Edge, The Rock, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels and The Great Khali.
