Title This: WWE Raw Christmas Reaction December 23rd, 2013

WWE Raw ChristmasThe Main Events

Cody Rhodes, Goldust and Daniel Bryan lose to The Wyatt Family. I love the character and promo ability of Bray Wyatt. I cannot being to explain how impressive Luke Harper has been inside the ring on a weekly basis. He continues to show how he can adapt to any shape or sized opponent. The Wyatt Family picks up the victory with Bray hitting Sister Abigail. A creepy finisher is perfect for Bray. The biggest piece of this match is the continued pursuit of The Wyatt to Daniel Bryan. I can see Goldust and Cody work with Luke Harper and Erick Rowan as soon as Royal Rumble. That could be the start of the build for Cody vs. Goldust at WrestleMania. My question is this: Who becomes the heel in this angle? Cody has been a good heel over time, but his offensive skills are better suited for a face. A heel Goldust could be intriguing and bring back memories of the Attitude Era. Is he too popular to turn heel?

The Shield loses to John Cena, CM Punk and Big E Langston. WWE is extremely smart with how they are booking Langston. CM Punk takes plenty of the beating on Raw. He is grounded and beaten down for a good while until the hot tag is given to Langston. Langston comes in and cleans house. He connects with some clotheslines, a big splash and tries to hit Big Ending. Rollins breaks it up and John Cena catches Rollins in the air. Roman Reigns comes out of nowhere and hits a spear. CM Punk enters the ring and sends Rollins to the outside. Ambrose tosses Punk to the outside. Big E Langston hits his finisher onto Ambrose. Reigns comes in and breaks up the pin. They all target their attacks on Langston while Cena and Punk are on the outside. John Cena saves the day and trips up Reigns. Langston hits a double clothesline. Punk hits GTS, while Cena hits Attitude Adjustment. A feel good ending to a Raw that had many ups and downs. The star was shining bright for Langston to end the night. It may be foreshadowing, but Roman Reigns vs. Big E Langston could be in the cards. That is not a bad match or feud to build. Two young men can really help each other, much like Rhodes and Sandow did earlier this year. This would be bigger and better.
