Title This: WWE Raw Reaction For January 20, 2014

The Main Events

WWE Raw ReactionRandy Orton vs. Kofi Kingston ended in No Contest. The main event of the night did not feel important to me. Why? Well, Kofi Kingston needs to not be in the final match heading into the second biggest event of the year. It is simple as that. I would rather see Orton cut ANOTHER promo and have Cena attack. The camera awaiting Cena's arrival is kind of lame. We ALL know Cena has been there since the afternoon prepping for the show. It makes WWE look childish. I hate the fact that this ended Raw. Orton and Cena should've been involved at the top of the second or third hour. People are buying the event for the Royal Rumble match. Spotlight that.

The Animal is Still Hungry

WWE succeeded tonight with the return of Batista. They told us why he is back, showed us how great of shape he is in and planted seeds for future feuds. The guy is ripped and seems to be in better than at 45 than 35. With his martial arts training and his shredding of weight, he needs to evolve in the ring. He was never bad, but Batista HAS to add more elusive and athletic moves to his arsenal to keep up with some guys today. I have firm belief that his best matches are ahead of him and he will be able to adapt to a more fast and exciting pace that what he left four years ago.
