The Main Events
Samoa Joe defeated Bobby Roode to keep his championship match against Magnus. While I am a fan of both of these guys, this match fell flat for me. It was too predictable and seemed very rushed. TNA gave these guys only 7 minutes of ring work. Bobby Roode should NEVER lose that quickly, nor should be placed in a match to look so weak. If they want him to rebel against Dixie, good luck. Roode is best suited as a heel and not the other way around. Samoa Joe continues to basically squash opponents, but we all know he is not going to beat Magnus. How does that end? Simple, Magnus cheats to win, like every other heel in the world.
Dixie Meets MVP
MVP came out earlier in the night and cut a promo about saving TNA and making it a better show than it is right now. Later in the night, he tells Dixie to talk to the fans about changes in the company. Both get in the ring and MVP says he does not listen to anything that she is saying and does not agree with them. He ends the show by saying that "the party is over."
This was anti-climatic to say the least. What changes are going to take place? Why would you end a pretty decent show on such a lackluster ending?
