This was a pretty solid match between two guys who have fought numerous times over the past month. Big E hits a huge splash after reversing a move from Del Rio. He pulls his straps down and is setting up a Big Ending. Del Rio hits a backstabber for a two count. Del Rio locks in the armbreaker, which is broken. The referee disqualifies Del Rio for not being cooperative and then attacks Big E. He attacks the arm of Big E, but Big E hits a Big Ending. I am not sure why WWE decided to have this match end like it did. It felt odd and forced. Big E needs to get a real feud, not one that is forced upon him. Del Rio is still in a state of flux. You need to be more than an excellent wrestler in WWE these days.
Paige defeated Aksana
It looks like the rookie diva is going to be reminded that "she got lucky" by every single diva. Aksana attacks her from the very beginning and she gets back to her feet. Aksana works some submission holds onto her and Paige finally gets going. She hits a few moves, including a dropkick, and then locks in her submission hold for the win. The match was very quick and really did not do much for me. They need to push Paige, which they are doing, but they also need to focus on just one diva challenging her. I am okay with Tamina being the contender right now. She deserves a chance to go by herself and get a PPV match. Paige has a great look and an even better skill set. I think all things are looking up, if they book her appropriately.
El Torito defeated Hornswoggle.
Yep, two midgets fighting one another. I could care less, so I decided to make some lunch and listen to the awful announcing that they had during the match.
