WWE Divas Division – Step Up
There's actually a lot going on with the WWE Divas right now. Most of it relates to Total Divas on the E! network and comes across petty and occasionally downright stupid on "real" wrestling television. I believe there's currently some sort of "feud" between Natalya and… the rest of the show? Something about a cat? I don't know – I don't watch Total Divas. THAT DOESN'T MEAN IT'S A BAD THING. A lot of people DO watch WWE's hit reality series, and I'm happy for those that enjoy it. I'm happy for the Divas getting on-screen exposure on Raw and Smackdown because of Total Divas. That's ALWAYS a good thing. Like anything in life – and more wrestling fans need to pay attention here – if I don't care about something, I don't watch it. But that doesn't mean it's inherently bad.
What I do watch, and what I'm enjoying tremendously at the moment, is Divas Champion Paige picking up win after win, solidifying her title reign, while Alicia Fox slowly has a mental breakdown. Alicia is good television. Her spot on Main Event this week was really fun. Both girls have their own style and brand of "crazy", and that's something I think will mix well heading towards Payback. But it's nice to see ACTUAL STORIES playing out that involve the ladies.
