Cesaro and Alberto Del Rio defeated Dolph Ziggler and Rob Van Dam

wwe smackdown reaction Another good match with Money in the Bank opponents from both matches. Cesaro took it to Ziggler early in the match. The hot tags were exchanged and RVD attacked Del Rio. RVD hit a split leg moonsault for a two count. Cesaro hits a massive uppercut onto Ziggler while RVD heads up top for a 5 Star Frog Splash. Del Rio put the knees up and made RVD tap out to the Cross Armbreaker.

I am shocked to see Del Rio pick up the win. I would rather see Cesaro, a guy who could potentially win his ladder match. Cesaro hits the Neutralizer onto Del Rio, which was the best possible ending they could have with these two guys.

Rusev and Big E face off with Rusev retreating. Big E cuts a promo about the USA. He sounded very Martin Luther King Jr. I do not know if the crowd connected as much as they should have, but Rusev needs a big guy to feud with. Even though they already had one match, expect a similar one at Money in the Bank. Rusev and Lana continue to adapt to whatever is given to them, whether it is a new squash match or even a medal ceremony. Expect bigger things for Rusev.

Roman Reigns vs. Kane Headlines Smackdown

The main event was good, not great. I still do not understand why Kane is in this match. If you want Reigns to lose, screw him over with Triple H interfering. That is a draw, not adding Kane to make 8 guys. 8 men in this match will be very interesting to see how they book it. It may be overloaded in the ring at times. The end of Smackdown came when Kane got knocked out by a Superman Punch. Randy Orton comes out and attacks Reigns. Kane sets a ladder up and Orton climbs it to grab the titles. As Orton is posing, he tries to kick Reigns in the head. Reigns spears him and Kane. Reigns stands tall.

Okay, I would have done only one thing different. Roman Reigns needs to go face to face with John Cena. Plain and simple, THAT would have been the best ending to Smackdown. You have the future looking into the face of Super-Cena.
