Sheamus and Dolph Ziggler defeated The Miz and Fandango
I am a firm believer that Miz could walk out Sunday as champion. I was actually impressed with what I saw out of Fandango tonight. It looks like WWE is going to give him more of an edgy type of offense in the ring, something we have not really seen from him.
Sheamus hits Brogue Kick onto Fandango and Ziggler hits his finisher on The Miz for the win. The faces stand tall, but I do not see that happening on Sunday. This tag team match was smooth and hyped the Battle Royal. It was nothing special, but it did give some more attention to guys who need it. It was just a fun match to watch with performers who have carried the mid card level for years.
Nikki Bella gets attacked by Eva Marie and Alicia Fox, again. Once again, WWE tries to use a terrible idea and not give up on it. The Bella’s are nothing if Daniel Bryan and Brie are off of television and Total Divas is on their “off-season.”
Alberto Del Rio defeated Kofi Kingston
Another night and another win for Del Rio. Kofi hit a cross body to the outside. As they get back into the ring, Kofi hits some dropkicks and a Boom Drop. Del Rio kicks him in the face and finally tries to lock in his submission hold, but hits a double foot stomp for the victory.
Do we really care about Del Rio picking up win after win against mid card talent? WWE just needs to give up on the guy. Yes, he is a great wrestler, but there are hundreds of those out in the world. He has NO charisma. His well has run dry for me.
