Randy Orton vs. Rob Van Dam ended in No Contest

smackdown reaction Randy Orton strikes early and often. He stomps a mud hole into RVD in the corner. Orton hits RVD with a front suplex onto the barricade. He then throws him all around the ring and on the announce table until he tosses him into the steel steps. Orton hits a backbreaker onto RVD on the table. The assault continues with a big clothesline, a hanging DDT from the barricade and hitting an RKO onto a steel chair in the middle of the ring. Randy Orton unleashes pain tonight.

This is the Randy Orton that we all liked. He needs to have no filter, no restrictions and no sense of harm. Randy Orton, if used properly, could revert back to a face with this kind of aggression. That is how the WWE Universe turned him face before. It may not happen soon, but Orton is one of those guys that can be a face or heel and succeed either way. He has proven it time and time again.

Paige defeated Natayla

Paige kicks Natalya in the stomach and begins to work away until Nattie slaps her in the face. Natalya hits a double hook suplex. Natalya hits a baseball slide. Paige drills Natalya with a huge kick to the stomach. She begins to yell and aggressively works the arm of Natalya on the ring post. Paige crawls over to her and head butts her multiple times. She hits knee strikes and then dances around her.

AJ Lee comes out and dances around the ring. She grabs her Divas Championship and skips away. Paige leaves the ring and heads up the ramp. AJ tells her to grab her title and get in the ring. Paige gets locked in with the Sharpshooter and taps out. Paige taps, trying to grab her title.

AJ Lee continues to be inside the head of Paige, which seems to be the angle WWE wants to continue with. I feel one more big match between the two and they both have to move on. They have done a solid job keeping this feud really going since April, but what will be next? I can see Natalya getting thrown back into the championship picture in a few months, or even a Naomi. Paige has to be tested by different types of Divas to really see if she is going to be a fixture for years to come.

Currently, Josh Isenberg works for Major League Baseball in their Advanced Media Productions. He grew up in Pittsburgh and went to Point Park University, which is where Chair Shot Reality is filmed each week.

His life outside of his obsession with wrestling include being a savant for Seinfeld, NFL, NBA, MLB and many television shows. He also has an undying love for musicals, which includes many shows he was a part of in high school. Some of his favorite wrestling moments can be linked to such superstars as Edge, The Rock, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels and The Great Khali.
