Title This: WWE Raw Reaction “Finally, WWE Does The Right Thing”

Triple Threat Tag Team Match

raw reactionJimmy Uso and John Cena work pretty good together. Uso hits a super kick and then hits a samoan drop. Jey gets into the ring and locks in an armbar. Jey misses a splash into the corner and tries to get a tag. Jimmy gets back and Dean Ambrose enters the ring. He hits a clothesline and then a cross body. Ambrose hits a nice move and then Stardust tosses Jey over the barricade.

Stardust controls the match as we come back from commercial break. Star and Goldust hit a double foot stomp, which was very impressive looking. The match picks up with John Cena hitting a cross body from the top to the outside and then Dean Ambrose following up with one of his own.  John Cena and Dean Ambrose stand tall to pick up the win.

Triple H makes their match at WWE Hell in a Cell for tonight. I love this idea! There is not much more interest you can get from Cena vs. Ambrose. We know they do not like each other. You HAVE to build the feud around Seth Rollins and not around John Cena. This tag team match was really solid and booked appropriately. It only makes the fans want more for later tonight, which they are getting.

AJ Lee and Layla defeated Paige and Alicia Fox

Alicia Fox connects onto AJ a few knees and punches. Layla blows her off and walks away from a tag that AJ Lee tries to make. AJ gets upset and is able to quickly turn the tide and lock in the Shining Wizard for the win. She attacks Layla after the match.

I am not really sure the point of this. Paige was a “friend” of AJ Lee. That did not last long and this seems like an emergency plan for a feud that does not have much left. I think it is time for WWE to move on from Paige and AJ Lee, but I wish Paige was the champion.
