Dean Ambrose defeated Cesaro

raw reaction Dean Ambrose and Cesaro start off hot with Cesaro hitting high knees. Ambrose hits a forearm smash from the outside and then Cesaro is able to hit a powerbomb. Dean Ambrose tosses him to the outside and then Bray Wyatt’s cryptic video comes on and we head to a commercial break.

Bray Wyatt sits on stage as we get back from break. Cesaro hits a nice DDT and then gets a two count. He slugs away at Ambrose on the ground. Ambrose gets back on top with a cross body and then a bulldog. Cesaro follows up with a big kick and Ambrose follows back with a clothesline off the ropes. Ambrose launches Cesaro to the outside and hits a Suicide Dive. Ambrose finishes him with a Dirty Deeds for the win. After the match, the lights go out and Wyatt is gone from his chair.

This was a really good match with solid offense. I liked seeing Wyatt staring at the match and how he came out. You can tell that WWE is really trying to grab as many viewers from NFL since this happened right before kick-off. WWE needs to do more tonight with these two guys and they will. Solid start and gives you more intrigue for what is going to happen later.

WZZ 6.5

The Miz defeated Jimmy Uso

The Miz knocks down Jimmy and then gets hit with a big kick. Jimmy hits a diving clothesline and a arm drag takedown. Miz punches Jimmy multiple times in the corner and misses a clothesline. Jimmy hits a Samoan Drop and then gets hung up on the top rope. Jimmy hits a hip toss and Miz is able to hit a big boot to Jimmy’s face. Miz hits his patented clothesine and axe handle smashes him from the top.

Jimmy is able to fly to the outside and hit a crossbody onto The Miz. Jey superkicks Mizdow and Miz hits Skull Crushing Finale off the distraction.

Another solid wrestling match. The stunt double gimmick works in The Miz’s favor this week and I can see WWE building up Miz and Mizdow. The only issue is that Mizdow is too comical and not an ounce of important right now. The crowd cheers him, but he is supposed to be a heel. He needs to tone it down just a little bit. I liked this match and it just showed how smooth The Miz could be given time in a match. Nothing amazing, but a solid match.
