New WWE Tag Team Champions
Survivor Series Reaction Jey and Diego exchange slaps across the chest and then Stardust throws him to the outside. He punishes Jey with some more punches and then Goldust gets into the ring. Stardust gets taken down by a spinning DDT. Jimmy comes in and explodes with a superkick and taking down Miz. He hits a Samoan Drop onto Goldust.
Jimmy and Jey are on fire and hit three superkicks. They try to fly to the outside, but Los Matadores trip them up. Goldust hits a powerslam and a two count. A spinning heel kick sends Goldust to the outside and then The Uso’s fly to the outside. Stardust hits a Falling Star and then Los Matdores, with El Torito, fly to the outside. All men are down on the outside. Goldust hits a back back drop from the top rop while Stardust hits a powerbomb. Jey hits a splash and Mizdow tags himself in. Mizdow wins the WWE Tag Team Championships for his team, while The Miz looks stunned.
One of the hottest gimmicks in the WWE pick up the WWE Tag Team Chmapionships. You cannot doubt how over Damien Mizdow is right now with the crowd. The action was exactly what I thought it would be: fun, energetic and many nice spots. This is just the beginning of a great tag team who will eventually split. There does not need to be a heel or face tag team champion. Miz will get the boos and Mizdow will get the crowd behind him until The Miz turns. I loved the ending to this match and it placed pieces for future stories down the road. Well done, WWE.
Divas Survivor Series Match
Emma and Cameron really get the match going, with throws to the ground. Cameron hit a suplex and a leg split for two. Naomi gets tagged and hits a kick to her former partner. He hits a cross body and then strikes with some elbows. Naomi hits a nice move and Layla kicks Naomi. Alicia fox hits a dropkick, while Summer Rae kicks her. Paige takes down Emma and Natalya clotheslines Paige. Nattie gets into and is hit with a running bulldog. Naomi rolls Cameron up and eliminates her.
Natalya clears the deck of Divas and heads to the outside. Alicia Fox gets into the ring and hits a cross body into all of the Divas. Summer Rae tags in Layla. Alicia hits a back breaker and Paige comes in like a ball of fury. Summer Rae gets caught and Fox tags in Natalya. They hit a double Russian Leg Sweep and Nattie hits a running dropkick and a spinning clothesline. Paige throws Summer Rae into the ring, after she mocked her, and Emma locks in a Tarantula. Emma makes Summer Rae tap out and it is all up to Paige, who is by herself.
Paige hits a big kick to Emma and unloads head butts. Nattie gets in and hits a beautiful German Suplex. Naomi gets in and Paige gets hit with a Rear View. She hit another move and the faces sweep the heels.
Well, I was completely wrong with this match. I really thought that Paige would be the sole survivor, thanks to Natalya and Tyson Kidd’s confrontation. Instead, we see a pretty decent match and a clean sweep. The Divas that stuck out for me were Alicia Fox, who continues to be really good in the ring, as well as Paige’s ability to make herself heard and see even when she was not in the ring. You can tell that she is heads and shoulders better than almost every Diva in that match. I do not expect much to come out of here going forward.
