Isenberg Reacts: WWE Raw “When Lesnar Returns, Everything is Better”

Dolph Ziggler and Erick Rowan vs. Luke Harper and Big Show

wwe raw Dolph Ziggler and Big Show start the wrestling side of things on WWE Raw. He punches away and then tries for a DDT, but Show throws him in mid air onto the mat. Show continues the assault by tossing him around the ring, we head to a commercial break.

Harper hits a chop to Ziggler and gets a two count. Ziggler moves away from a splash into the corner and Rowan comes in to unload on Harper. He hits a Full Nelson Slam and Harper connects with an elbow. Rowan hits Show with a spin kick and Dolph tosses Harper across the announce table. Big Show hits a Knockout Punch and picks up the win.

I was surprised to see Rowan lose again tonight to Big Show. I figured WWE would give him a bounce back win and keep his young push going. Unfortunately, they give Big Show a meaningless win on WWE Raw. I can see WWE giving wins to Big Show to make him a “force” heading into Royal Rumble. They need to build up guys to make Roman Reigns’ win more meaningful.

The Bellas Suffer A Tag Team Loss

Nikki hits a spinebuster on Alicia and Brie makes the tag. Brie slows down the match and Nattie gets into the ring with a snap mare takedown. She throws Brie into Nikki and Brie slaps her. Nattie locks in the Sharpshooter and Brie taps out.

The match started with a nice takedown from the champion and slowed down pretty quickly. I wish they had more than 3 minutes, but this is the norm every single week. Natalya makes Brie tap out, which leads me to believe that WWE will bring back the Nikki vs. Brie feud. This could be the start, or restart, of the twins getting more time.

Currently, Josh Isenberg works for Major League Baseball in their Advanced Media Productions. He grew up in Pittsburgh and went to Point Park University, which is where Chair Shot Reality is filmed each week.

His life outside of his obsession with wrestling include being a savant for Seinfeld, NFL, NBA, MLB and many television shows. He also has an undying love for musicals, which includes many shows he was a part of in high school. Some of his favorite wrestling moments can be linked to such superstars as Edge, The Rock, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels and The Great Khali.
