Roman Reigns vs. Kane

wwe smackdown Smackdown opens with a man who will compete against Seth Rollins at WWE Payback and Kane. Roman Reigns takes control early and ends up hitting a Superman Punch and tries for a Spear. Kane goes to the outside and gets counted out, giving Roman the win. After this, I still am not sure why WWE thinks that anyone still wants to see a Kane vs. Roman Reigns match.

This has been done to death over the past 6 months and every match is almost the same. Kane’s character is growing out of The Authority, but do we really want to see him get THIS much time on Raw and Smackdown? There needs to be new blood in The Authority, a guy that takes Kane out and replaces him. When that happens, the mask can come back on and I might be more inclined to see him wrestle. They just do so little to make his character intriguing. The pants and no mask have no appeal to me.

Damien Sandow defeated Curtis Axel

After a nice promo on Raw, Sandow comes out and faces Axel in a pretty quick match. Sandow works fast and hits “You’re Welcome” for the win. Match aside, what are your thoughts on Damien Sandow?

Where does he go from here? Can he go back to his Intellectual savior gimmick? Probably not, but I do think that Sandow needs to keep the crowd on his side every week. Without a gimmick or without some realistic characteristics shown each week, he will fall down the card. The roster is stocked with talent. Some are thriving and some are lost in the shuffle. I fear the ladder for Sandow, even though Ii am entertained by him.

Aside from working with WrestleZone, Isenberg began his career in Broadcast Journalism interning at ESPN and worked with CBS Radio for three years. He has also had the opportunity to interview some of the best athletes and performers alive, including Andrew McCutchen, Ben Roethlisberger, Chris Jericho, Billy Gunn, Karl Anderson, Matt Hardy, Steven Strasburg and others.

Currently, Josh Isenberg works for Major League Baseball in their Advanced Media Productions. He grew up in Pittsburgh and went to Point Park University, which is where Chair Shot Reality is filmed each week.

His life outside of his obsession with wrestling include being a savant for Seinfeld, NFL, NBA, MLB and many television shows. He also has an undying love for musicals, which includes many shows he was a part of in high school. Some of his favorite wrestling moments can be linked to such superstars as Edge, The Rock, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels and The Great Khali.
